A preliminary investigation said Hackers found a vulnerability in the &quot;Smart Contract&quot; feature of Poly Network, which allowed for efficient swapping of tokens. The hackers seemingly overrode contract instructions and diverted funds to wallet addresses. As of late Wednesday, hackers returned $ 260 mn, but $ 365mn was still outstanding.</p>
