Facebook accused of putting profit before user safety regarding hate speech

<p>Frances Haugen, who formerly worked as a product manager on the civic misinformation team at Facebook, has accused the company of repeatedly prioritising profit over user safety. She appeared on the CBS television program &quot;60 minutes&quot; revealing herself to be the person who submitted documents displaying Instagram&#39;s harm to teen girls, to the Senate.
