Facebook releases early access of it's Academic Research API

<p>Facebook&#39;s academic research API, a tool designed to aggregate near-universal real-time data on its network,&nbsp;was made available to a small group of academic researchers via an invite only system. Described as a &quot;Digital clean room&quot;, one needs&nbsp;Facebook VPN to access the API. Data cannot be exported but can be collected, crunched and analysis can be exported. To protect user privacy, analysed data is prevented from being re-identified.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
