Facebook to go big on metaverse as transaction market crosses $6 B

<p>In 2021, the Metaverse transaction market is expected to reach $6.1 B. Social media giant Facebook has said it will spend more than $10 B to build out its vision for Metaverse. The global Metaverse market is expected to reach $42 B by 2026, according to Strategy Analytics. Meta also announced new tools such as the Presence Platform, which allows for new mixed reality experiences on Quest 2, and a $150 M investment in immersive learning.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
