Facebook will shut down its standalone Gaming app in October

<p>Facebook will discontinue the Facebook Gaming app, little over two years after its debut on October 28, 2022. Additionally, neither the Apple App Store nor the Google Play Store will carry the app. As the COVID-19 epidemic got underway, in April 2020, the app was released as a tool for consumers to watch their preferred streams, play instant games, and engage in gaming communities.</p>
