Facebook will stop new political ads week before US midterm elections

<p>Beginning with political ads, Meta provided a general description of how it intends to prepare its platforms for the next U.S. midterm elections. New &quot;political, electoral, and social issue ads&quot; will not be allowed on Meta during the week leading up to the November 8 elections. Before the blackout time, ads were still able to run. But during that period, the business will turn off the majority of alterations for them, including any adjustments to their intended audience.</p>
