Global laptop market to hit 173 mn units in 2020: Counterpoint

<p>The global laptop market will increase 9% YoY in 2020 to reach 173 mn units and over $132 bn in total sales value. The top three players - Lenovo, Hewlett-Packard and Dell - together accounted for 68% of the market share, said Counterpoint Research. Second-tier players such as Apple, Asus and Acer have seen a decline in market shares in the recent past with the rise of Chinese brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
