Google comes under flak in Indonesia over “unfair business practices”

<p dir="ltr">Google is facing an investigation in Jakarta, Indonesia for &ldquo;alleged abuse of its dominant position&rdquo; and usage of &ldquo;discriminatory practices in digital application distribution in Indonesia&rdquo;. Google imposes a 15-30% service fee to third-party developers to offer their apps on Google Play and developers have to bow to its terms, as non-cooperation can lead to removal from the store or preventing developers from releasing new updates, 5% more than other payment systems.</p>
