Google-Facebook Duopoly in Digital Advertising Space Continues

<p>The Google-Facebook duopoly in the rapidly expanding Indian digital advertising sector is still in place, with their domestic businesses, Google India Pvt Ltd (GIPL) and Facebook India Online Services, generating combined ad sales of Rs 41,115 crore in 2021&ndash;2022 (as of this writing). Out of the total 3,900 Cr&nbsp;that the income division collected in FY22, the two majors combined paid 2,277 Cr&nbsp;as an equalization levy, or around 58.4% of the total.</p>
