Google-Jio smartphone launch delayed in India

<p>The much-awaited, JioPhone Next, jointly developed by Google and Jio, won&#39;t be launched this week as previously scheduled, Jio said. Blaming the global semiconductor shortage, the company said it will take a further two months to mitigate it. The JioPhone Next was planned to be a budget 4G phone, which will be used to tap the 300M strong consumer base in India, which is still using older versions of phones.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
