Google opens door to cross-platform Android apps

<p>Google has been working to make it simpler for programmers to create Android apps that work with a variety of devices. Google announced the release of a new cross-device software development kit which includes the resources programmers require to create their applications. The three main functions of the SDK are to let developers to find nearby devices, create secure connections between devices, and host an app&#39;s experience across numerous devices.</p>
