Google outlines plans to enhance look, feel of Workspace apps

<p>Last year, at Google&#39;s I/O conference, the firm announced plans to redesign the look and feel of its Workspace cloud apps. The theme of this approach is called &ldquo;smart canvas.&rdquo; This includes a new layout for Gmail that will begin rolling out this month, search chips for Google Drive, and a set of updates for Google Docs and Google Sheets that are on the way. The next step, according to Google, is more similar to autocorrect, and the feature will be available soon in Sheets.</p>
