Google takes on Microsoft; expands LinkedIn rival app called ‘Kormo Jobs’

<p>At a time when India is struggling with unemployment, Google is expanding its entry-level job search app called &lsquo;Kormo Jobs&rsquo;. The job search feature was, last year, launched as a spot on Google Pay app. Google says that it is now re-branding the feature as Kormo app. This move can also be considered as an approach to hurt LinkedIn which doesn&rsquo;t have a strong presence in emerging markets. The app also helps people to learn new skills and easily create a CV.</p>
