Google to acquire Mandiant for $5.4B

<p>Google is said to be acquiring cyber security firm, Mandiant, in a deal worth $5.4B. The security firm will merge into Google Cloud where it will be given access to data gathering utilities and a team of over 100 security consultants. Head of Google Cloud, Thomas Kurian said that companies are facing more security threats and even more so the ongoing Ukraine invasion by Russia. He added that Mandiant will give them more security services which will be added to Google Cloud.</p>
