Google to invest Rs 33,737 cr for 7.7% stake in Jio Platforms

<p>Google will invest Rs 33,737 cr for a 7.7% stake in the Jio Platforms, Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani confirmed today in the company&#39;s 43rd AGM. Google, now, will join Facebook and other firms that invested in Jio Platforms in the last few months. Jio Platforms, with the latest funding, has secured a total investment&nbsp;of well over Rs 152,000 cr, so far. Google, a few days back, had announced a $10 bn digital fund for India, in its first country-specific fund.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
