Government delays introduction of cypto bill

<p>It is very unlikely that the Indian government will introduce the cryptocurrency bill in the upcoming budget session of the Parliament. The Centre wants to hold more discussions and build consensus on the regulatory framework. It is also waiting for the pilot of RBI&#39;s CBDC, which is expected to launch in a few months. A senior finance ministry official said the crypto bill is a complex subject and will require more time.</p>
