Hiring freeze at Intel's PC and laptop chip division

<p>Reuters reviewed an internal memo released by Intel according to which it has decided to freeze hiring in its PC and laptop chip division. The July 8th memo said that hiring may resume slowly after a period of two weeks and all job applications will be reviewed. The reasons for this freeze have been attributed to the company&#39;s 28% dip in share prices and the adoption of various cost-cutting measures.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
