Honda To Develop Advanced Level 3 Self-Driving Technology By 2029

<p>As part of its effort to end road fatalities involving its cars, Honda said it is developing Level 3 self-driving capabilities that can operate at any speed within legal limits on highways by the second half of the 2020s. In Japan, Honda became the first automaker in the world to market a car with Level 3 self-driving technology in March 2021. Production of the Legend sedan with Level 3 automation technology was restricted to 100 units.&nbsp;</p>
