How Paypal uses false positives, false negatives to identify nature of transactions

<p>Paypal uses the false positive and false negative results of machine learning models to determine whether a transaction is good or bad. When the model identifies good as bad, it's a false positive, and when the model identifies bad as good, it's a false negative. V Chandramouliswaran, Senior Director, Chennai Centre Head at PayPal, said Paypal tries to maximize true positives and true negatives to make accurate predictions. </p>
