IBM, Airtel partner to power Indian enterprises in 5G era

<p>Airtel&#39;s edge computing platform, which will contain 120 network data centres spread across 20 cities, will be deployed in India as the country gears itself for the 5G roll-out, according to an agreement from cloud computing giant IBM and Bharti Airtel. To begin with, Maruti Suzuki&#39;s endeavors to improve plant productivity and quality operations will be supported by the Airtel edge computing platform, which is supported by IBM Cloud Satellite.</p>
