IBM announces Eagle 127 qubit processor, designs for Quantum system

<p>At IBM Quantum Summit, the company made two big announcements. One of them was the launch of its 127 qubit processor, Eagle. Another one was the previewed designs of its next-gen quantum system. IBM projected that quantum computing would surpass classical computing by 2025. Selected members of the IBM quantum network will have early access to Eagle. The latest quantum system is said to be operational by 2023 at IBM research.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
