IDC India reports 5% decline in smartphone shipments in Q2, Samsung down to fourth

<p>Shipments of smartphones in India fell sequentially by 5% in the second quarter of 2022. This happens as a result of declining demand brought on by rising inflation as well as higher input costs that raise market prices. With 35M units delivered in the second quarter, the market witnessed 71M units shipped in the first half of 2022, a 1% year-over-year reduction.</p>
