Independent from Dell, VMWare CEO will focus on cloud partnerships and M&A

<p>Raghu Raghuram, the CEO of recently independent VMWare, has said that he will look to pursue deeper ties with cloud computing providers. VMWare completed its spinout from Dell Technologies, which previously owned 81% of the company, to become a separate publicly-traded company worth $64B. The company will also aggressively pursue takeovers or acquisitions of smaller startups to expand, he added.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
