India Allocates ₹25,000 Crore to Boost Electronics Components Manufacturing
The Indian government has approved a ₹25,000 crore (approximately $3 billion) incentive scheme to enhance domestic production of electronics components. Aimed at reducing import dependence, the initiative seeks to increase local value addition to 35-40% over its five-to-six-year tenure, with an estimated production output of $50-60 billion.
