India to become world's semiconductor design provider in few years

<p>Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, stated that India has the potential to become a global provider of electronics systems and semiconductor design in the next five to seven years. MeitY came up with an ambitious thousand-day plan on how to make India into a $3T digital economy. The industry applauded the government&#39;s decision to establish the India Semiconductor Mission.</p>
