India's local 5G market is booming

<p>Tech Mahindra, Sterlite Technologies, and the government-owned ITI are among the Indian firms that have developed 5G capabilities. The completion is aggressive with local players like Tata Sons' subsidiary Panatone Finvest acquiring and controlling share in telecom equipment supplier Tejas Networks. Panatone Finvest will purchase a 43.3 % share in Tejas Networks for Rs 1,850 crore.</p>
