India's local 5G market is booming  

<p>Tech Mahindra, Sterlite Technologies, and the government-owned ITI are among the Indian firms that have developed 5G capabilities. The completion is aggressive with local players like Tata Sons&#39; subsidiary Panatone Finvest acquiring and controlling share in telecom equipment supplier Tejas Networks. Panatone Finvest will purchase a 43.3 % share in Tejas Networks for Rs 1,850 crore.</p>
