Indus Towers Expects Vi To Stick To Payment Plan Cleared By Its Board

<p>Indus Towers has stated that it has not examined the mechanism by which cash-strapped Vodafone Idea (Vi) pays competitor telecom tower business American Tower Corp by issuing convertible debentures. It instead expects Vi to pay its debts in accordance with the payment schedule recently agreed upon by the Indus board. During its quarterly results call, Indus management also stated that the business does not anticipate any write-offs.</p>
