Intel delays opening of Ohio factory as Congress deliberates CHIPS Act

<p>Although the firm stated the bill must pass &quot;so we can go forward at the speed and scale we have long envisioned for Ohio,&quot; Intel still intends to start working on the project before the year is up. Due to the continuous postponement of the CHIPS Act, a $52 B funding plan for domestic chip manufacturing, Intel indicated that the groundbreaking of its Ohio semiconductor factory would be postponed. Intel plans to begin the project before the year&#39;s end.</p>
