Intel's Core i9-13900KS Processor Breaks 6GHz Barrier, Costs $699

<p>The first CPU to hit 6GHz without aggressive overclocking is Intel&#39;s new Core i9-13900KS. To get beyond the 6GHz barrier and boost PC gaming performance, it makes use of Thermal Velocity Boost technology from Intel. The performance core base frequencies have been increased from the 13900K&#39;s 3GHz to 3.2GHz. Retailers will start retailing the CPU today, and motherboards will support the chip with a BIOS update.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
