Israel aims for zero emissions by 2050

<p>Amidst protests in Tel Aviv demanding action against climate change, Israel on Friday has said that it hopes to cut its carbon emissions to zero by 2050. While it does not contribute much to climate change itself, Israeli officials said the country has much to offer to the world in terms of green technology. Israel had previously stated that it might fall short of the international goal to reach zero emissions by 2050, expecting to reduce only 85% emissions.<br /> &nbsp;</p>
