Jio runs trial of VR meeting using indigenous 5G NR radio, Core network

<p>Reliance Jio has run trials of immersive HD virtual reality meetings, using indigenously developed 5G NR Radio and 5G Core networks. The participants wore VR headsets, while others joined in through the cloud, with collaborative screen sharing and presentation through VR. Jio claims to have developed its own 5G stack, which allows for AR and VR among many other uses.
