JLL says India Colocation Data Centre industry's capacity to increase 2X by 2023

<p>JLL said India&#39;s colocation data center industry will increase its capacity from 499 MW of IT load in H1 2021 to 1008MW by 2023. The industry will require over 5M sq ft of real estate for the expansion. The leading DC hubs are expected to be Mumbai and Chennai due to the assurance of power supply, undersea cable landings and large user markets. The approval of the draft Personal Data Protection Bill in India will be a major enabler for growth in the DC industry.</p>
