KKR to invest Rs 5,500 crore in Reliance Retail for 1.28% stake

<p>Global investment firm KKR will invest Rs 5,500 Cr into Reliance Retail that translates into 1.28% equity stake. KKR&rsquo;s cheque values Reliance Retail at a pre-money equity value of Rs 4.21 L Cr. Private equity giant Silver Lake Partners was the first to invest Rs 7,500 Cr in Reliance Retail for 1.75% stake. With two cheques in two weeks, Ambani&rsquo;s retail business has raised a total of Rs 13,050 Cr.</p>
