Lenskart announces acquisition of Japan's Owndays in a $400M deal
<p>Lenskart, an omnichannel eyeglasses shop, has acquired the majority of the shares in Owndays, a direct-to-consumer eyewear company. The largest omnichannel eyewear store in Asia will be made thanks to the strategic alliance created by this merger. Owndays will likely receive a value of about $400M from the sale. The business chose not to disclose the size of the deal. The acquisition would increase Lenskart's reach to 13 regions throughout Asia.</p>
