MacKenzie Scott sets charitable pace, sells Amazon stock worth $8.5B

<p>MacKenzie Scott&#39;s (Jeff Bezos&#39; ex-wife) Amazon.com Inc&#39;s holding decreased by 2.5M shares in 2021, according to a regulatory filing. The shares might be worth up to $8.5B, as per the average of Amazon&#39;s share price between the two filing dates. Scott still owns 14.9M shares in the company. It would be much higher, but she has donated more than $8.6B to hundreds of charities across the US since their divorce.</p>
