Mastodon Reaches 1 Million Monthly Active Users As Musk Reforms Twitter

<p>The shockwaves from Elon Musk&#39;s purchase of Twitter, which was finalized less than a week ago, are still being felt throughout the social network. One of the Twitter alternatives that some users are switching to is Mastodon. The number of active members had risen to 655,000 last week, according to sources, but creator Eugen Rochko said this past weekend that it had surpassed one million. Of those, little about 490,000 were recently registered users.</p>
