Meesho names Debdoot Mukherjee as chief data scientist

<p>Debdoot Mukherjee has been named chief data scientist at internet commerce business Meesho, according to a statement released by the firm. Mukherjee will be in charge of the company&#39;s attempts to apply Artificial Intelligence to make every aspect of the e-commerce sector smarter and more efficient. He will lead Meesho&#39;s current 30-person AI team and triple its size by the end of the year. He formerly held executive positions at firms such as ShareChat, Hike, and Myntra.</p>
