Meta cracks down on scammers using trademark

<p>Meta is pursuing legal action against the bad actors who allegedly conducted a phishing scam by impersonating Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. The company claims that since 2019, the defendants created over 39K websites in an attempt to replicate Meta&#39;s services. Meta said that the defendants used a relay service, Ngrok, to send internet traffic to the phony login pages created by the scammers.&nbsp;</p>
