Microsoft, Google join legal battle against hacking firm NSO

<p>Microsoft and Google joined Facebook&rsquo;s legal battle against hacking firm NSO. The tech giants have filed an amicus brief in federal court that said that the Israeli firm&rsquo;s tools were &ldquo;powerful, and dangerous.&rdquo; &nbsp;FB&#39;s lawsuit against NSO was filed last year after it was revealed that the NSO had exploited a bug in WhatsApp to help surveil over 1,400 people worldwide. &nbsp;NSO said that as it sells digital break-in tools to govt agencies it should benefit from &ldquo;sovereign immunity.&rdquo;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
