Microsoft in talks with Telangana govt for setting up $2bn data centre

<p>Microsoft corp and the Telangana govt are negotiating the deal for building one of its largest data centres in the state with an investment of around $2bn-$2.5bn. The discussion is in its final stages and certain issues are being sorted out. No official statement has been released by Microsoft but it seems willing to go ahead with the project. AWS also announced the setting up of a second data centre region in Telangana which will be operational by mid-2022.</p>
