Microsoft sets sights on cybersecurity firm Mandiant

<p>Microsoft Corp is pursuing the cybersecurity firm Mandiant and is already in talks with the company. Mandiant, which became standalone again in 2021, would help Microsoft incorporate better cybersecurity tech into its existing products which would help clients from several digital threats. Microsoft has cemented its intent to expand its cybersecurity division as it would spend $20B on cybersecurity and already has bought two smaller companies in 2021.</p>
