Microsoft's Revenue Projection in Danger From PC Industry Downturn and Strong Currency

<p>Microsoft expected to report its slowest quarterly revenue increase in more than five years. Analysts are sceptical about the company&#39;s ability to stick to its yearly growth projections in face of a slowing PC market and a strong currency. An increase in inflation this year has fueled concerns about recession in the world economy and prompted businesses and consumers to cut back on purchases of computers and laptops, which has hurt sales of some of Microsoft&#39;s major products.</p>
