Mixed Responses Received from Fintech Sector to Expected Drop in Funds

<p>Fintech funding is predicted to be less than in 2021, which witnessed a significant $10 billion in funding spread over more than 580 acquisitions in FY21, according to a Bain analysis. It was triple the $3.5 B that was given out in 2020. A conservative $4.2 B has been allocated for the first half of 2022, which is less than H1 FY21 but twice as much as H1 FY20. CTO and CBO of CAS Yashoraj Tyagi believes that macroeconomic and geopolitical factors were cause of fall in funding.</p>
