MongoDB to release a new API for easier data access
<p>MongoDB showcased a new REST-like API's preview release. 'Atlas Data API' aims to help developers query MongoDB data from the backend in any language without the need for drivers. Developers usually build custom APIs to communicate with MongoDB data using various protocols over HTTPS. This however is a time-consuming process. Data API is said to have built-in support for aggregation pipelines through which Atlas search can be accessed.<br /> </p>
