NEC in talks with Indian telcos for OpenRAN deployment

<p>Japan&#39;s NEC Corporation, as per media reports, is in talks with Indian telecom operators for a possible deployment of its OpenRAN tech for the rollout of 5G in the country. It added that there might be a few Indian telecom operators looking to adopt OpenRAN to take a lead in the market. The Japanese company said OpenRAN attempts to help the telcos cut network-related costs and upgrade their 5G technology even though it might be a challenger network for India.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
