Netflix pays $72M to Next Games, publisher of Stranger Things, Walking Dead games

<p>Netflix has announced the acquisition of Next Games, a mobile game developer based in Finland, for $72M (&euro;65M). Next Games is a publicly-traded company in Helsinki, and the deal is structured as an all-cash share purchase for &euro;2.10 per share. The purchase is yet to be finalized and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Next Games is a perfect fit for Netflix&#39;s larger plan of expanding its gaming content as a complement to its video catalog.</p>
