Netflix's CEO now says he's willing to consider less expensive, ad-supported plan
<p>Netflix co-founder and co-CEO Reed Hastings stated that the firm is very open to delivering even lower costs with advertising, as a consumer choice. Hastings agrees that introducing an ad-supported tier would be a significant shift in the company's approach, saying that he's against the complexity of advertising and a huge fan of the simplicity of subscription. For customers who want a lower price but are tolerant of ads, an ad-supported tier makes a lot of sense.</p>
