NTT India will Invest $2 B in Data Centers, Submarine Cables, and Renewable Energy
<p>NTT India has set aside USD 2 billion to improve the nation's information and communications technology infrastructure. A senior firm official stated that it aims to capitalise on the surge in data use. Kolkata could become the site of a submarine cable landing station, according to NTT Data Inc.'s Indian division. It would also deploy 350 MW of solar energy since it expects its data centers' power consumption to reach 400 MW in a few years.</p>
