Oracle will now provide its MySQL HeatWave database and analytics on Amazon’s cloud

<p>Oracle has begun to make its cloud database service for transactions, analytics, and machine learning, MySQL HeatWave, available on Amazon's AWS cloud. Customers who already have data parked there will be able to use the service as a result. The new service is not provided in conjunction with Amazon. Previous AWS users who wanted to utilise MySQL HeatWave would have had to pay hefty fees to transfer their data to Oracle's cloud.</p>
