Palo Alto Networks Is Buying Cider Security For Up To $300M

<p>Palo Alto Networks will pay $300M for application security firm Cider Security, its first significant purchase in over two years. The Silicon Valley-based platform security behemoth declared today that it is purchasing Tel Aviv&#39;s Cider Security, a 100-person company that secures engineering processes &amp; systems from code to deployment, for $200M in cash and $100M in Palo Alto Networks stock. Palo Alto will announce its financial results today after the market closes.</p>
